New ACEA C4 & C1 low SAPS oils from Comma.

10/09/2010

Comma has added two important new high performance low SAPS oils to its range of Performance Motor Oils. Both are fully synthetic products, specially formulated for many of the recent petrol and diesel models from Renault, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover and Mitsubishi that are fitted with exhaust after treatment units requiring an ACEA 'C' grade engine lubricant.

New Comma Ecoren 5w30 fully synthetic conforms to ACEA Service Classification C4. It also meets in full the requirements of Renault RN0720, which is relevant to twenty seven Renault car and two Renault LCV model applications from 2007 onwards.

New Comma Ecolife 5w-30 fully synthetic conforms to ACEA Service Classification C1. It also meets in full the requirements of Ford and is relevant to nine Mazda model applications for the years 2005-2009. In addition, Comma Ecolife meets WSS-M2C934-B providing application coverage for 2009/10 Jaguar XF 3 litre diesel V6 models, 2009 Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover Sport 3 litre diesel V6 models and 2007 Mitsubishi Shogun/Pajero/Montero 3.2 litre diesel models.

"A constantly increasing number of today's high performance petrol and diesel engines are specified for ACEA's category C low and medium SAPS engine lubricants, which are designed to protect sensitive 3-way catalytic converters (CATs) and diesel particulate filters (DPFs)," says Comma Marketing & Sales Director, Mike Bewsey. "New Comma Ecoren and Ecolife oils are formulated to meet these requirements in full. Our on-line VRN look-up facility at www.CommaOil.com has been updated to reflect all the relevant applications."
