Comma’s Technical Partnership to the FIA Formula Two Championship has been confirmed for the third successive year since the series was inaugurated in 2009. The agreement - announced jointly by Mike Bewsey, Comma Marketing & Sales Director, and MotorSport Vision (MSV) Chief Executive, Jonathan Palmer - coincides with the fifth anniversary of Comma’s ‘umbrella’ Technical Partnership with MSV, Britain’s leading motorsport promoter and operator of the FIA Formula Two Championship.

 FIA (Federation International de l’Automobile), the world governing body of motorsport, introduced Formula Two as an official ‘feeder’ series to Formula 1. As the FIA-appointed operator of the series, MSV chose Comma at the outset to be exclusive supplier of engine oils, coolants and maintenance chemicals to all 24 FIA Formula Two race cars.

“MotorSport Vision has worked with Comma since 2007 – the product quality and technical support offered to the MSV team has always been outstanding,” said Jonathan Palmer. “Naturally, Comma was our first choice when looking for a Technical Partner for the FIA Formula Two Championship. Our mechanics and technicians use Comma products every day on every vehicle. We need to operate to the highest levels of performance and reliability, and if any of our engineers weren’t completely happy with these products, I would certainly know about it.”   

MSV also owns the Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton Park and Cadwell Park race circuits, as well as PalmerSport, the world’s foremost driving experience based alongside the Formula Two headquarters at Bedford Autodrome.  As with Formula Two, Comma is exclusive supplier of engine oils, coolants and maintenance products to the PalmerSport fleet of over 100 cars, as well as the track-and-rally-day cars that operate at the various MSV circuits. Collectively, these vehicles cover almost 2.5 million miles a year on the red-line edge of their performance capabilities.
